SHORTBOXED LIVE 2024!

What a Great Time!

I got to help the awesome folks at Shortboxed a couple weeks ago and sell merch at Shortboxed LIVE 2024. It was a blast. The con purposefully focuses on artists and dealers with informative sessions throughout the day. The merch table was located next to the main stage so I had front row to Jason Shawn Alexander, Mickey Finnegan, AKA "Swagglehaus”, and other luminaries giving their talks.

During down time and after the show it was great hanging with artists like Maria the Wolf, Mike Choi, as well as dealers from around the U.S. While large, the event truly felt like an old-school comic con.

Oh! And I did a little promo at the event to drive some subs for the newsletter. Congrats to marlon_thelegend for winning the Spider-Man #365 CGC 9.8! I will have that out to you shortly.

Whale Auction Tonight!!!

The guys at Strictly Comix are doing another big Whale Auction tonight on Youtube. All books start at $100 and there will definitely be some fire.

You can find the auction in YouTube here. It is always a lot of fun and they have sped up the rounds so more books can be presented!

Shortboxed Now Scheduling Theme Auctions

In addition to the weekly auctions, Shortboxed is now scheduling out theme auction including a fast-approaching Dave Stevens theme, Golden Age (there is a freakin Cap America #3 going up), and a Sig Series. You can preview the books a few days before the events and all books start at $1(!).
